Mary Kathryn Gaines
Funeral services for Mrs Mary Kathryn Gaines 91 who died Sunday at Test Haven, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Roller Chapel here with the Rev Ellias officiating. Burial was in the Burnt Schoolhouse cemetery with the Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs Gaines was born October 20, 1864 in this county and spent her entire life here. She was a member of the Christian church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Nellie Wood of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister, Mrs Matilda Doshier of Rest Haven; and 15 grandchildren.

Martha Jane Tyler married Thomas C Bales (son of Bailey Bales and Mary (possibly Bean)
Oldest child of Martha Jane Tyler and Thomas C Bales was William Jackson Bales - b 29 Sept 1869.
William Jackson Bales is my great grandfather...
