Am trying to find/reach descendant of Abner Washington/Sarah Telitha Cumi Crook FILES that lived in Ashley and Pulaski Counties, Arkansas in the last half of 1800's and early 1900's or a group interested in cemetery markers. I am in contact with a person for years that has had a tombstone for one of the above family's children: Mary James FILES (Born: 6/26/1862 - Died: 9/20/1863 - Hamburg, Arkansas). This person would like to get this tombstone which is quite old (probably the original) back to the family or someone for placement back on gravesite (if known) or in their possession. This person with the tombstone has for years been trying to find the family of this young girl but had NO idea where she was from or how to find the family. I told him that I would try to reach someone through genealogy websites.
