I am searching for my Elizabeth (Sarah Frances) Barnes. I have that she was born in Ala. about 1849. She married Ransom (Rance) L. Chambers in June,1964 in Ashley County, Ark. and they were the parents of my G-grandmother. Odem Chambers and she married William Lawrence Gammel.
They are my GGGrandparents. I don't know anything about Sarah's parents. I learned last on a visit to Ark. that her brother was John Barnes(CSA) and he lived in Ark. I was told that he was the Father to Alice Birchfield who was a first cousin to my GGgrandmother Odem Chambers Gammel.
Both Sarah and her husband died early. In Ramsom's Fathers will, his children inherit his portion of the estate.
