Seeking information on John Benjamin Lumsden,
born March 5th, 1848, Todd County, KY, buried
in Arkansas County, De Witt, Arkansas. The Lumsden Family is part of The House of Lumsden Association, which is part of Clan Lumsden of Scotland. The work of Clan Lumsden to gather together those of the name through the world reached a pinnacle in 1985, when the claim of the present Chief was established in the Court of the Lord Lyon of Scotland. The Association is entirely social, seeks to preserve family buildings and burial grounds, publishes genealogical information, supplies Tartan, and organizes a Lumsden Gathering every third year. The next Gathering is July 29th, 2000, in Scotland.
