(also spelled Cockes) Louisa had a sister named Jennie (Homa Jean/Homagama BUFFALO)...Louisa married Joseph Vinson GARRETT in Texas, circa 1880, and they both died between 1897/1899 in Llano, Co. TX. with "slow/sloe fever"... Their children were Nora, Merrial (Merel,Merrill), Rachael, Virta and Myrtle GARRETT.
