Searching Paul Porter 1945 Jonesboro/St. Louis

I am searching for a Paul Porter from Jonesboro. He was born in 1921/22, and served a brief stint in the army during WWll. He lived for a while in the St. Louis area around 1945, while his extended family remained in Jonesboro. Any help is appreciated.
