Sorry about that, Steve. Of course, Mary Waldrop was born Granville, NC. I must have had a senior moment. I tried to email you but apparently I left the 0 off of your email and it came back.

Meanwhile, I have discovered who the J. B. Pitts I was researching belonged to; Reuben Golden Pitts, brother of John Belton Pitts, so all is well that ends well, eh? He was James Burton Pitts. Thanks anyway!
