My daughter's genealogy search has led to Cora Bell Preble, who died March 31, 1955, at the age of 99 in "the convalescent home" in Pine Bluff. She was a resident of DeWitt and apparently burried there. Details in PB Commercial obit were sketchy, and I'm hoping the local paper would have more detail about a woman who was almost a hundred years old! Survivors included a granddaughter living in PB who was not named, and nephews and a niece from DeWitt--Mrs. George B. Cook, Earl Counce and R.H. Jacobs.
We're hoping that this is my daughter's great-great-grandmother. Would someone be kind enough to check the local paper for us? It would be great to find enough information to confirm that this is indeed the proper Cora Preble (Prible).
