Hi Maribeth,
I'm pleased to meet you. My Grandpa Allen was sick the last several years of his life and he died in the Little Roock, AR VA Hospital and is buried there. He died in 1952. Grandma Allen is buried in the Williams cemetery near the bayou property. So is old Rush Hayes. We never really knew anyone nearby. My mom was 14 when she married my dad, and they moved to Michigan eventually. That is where we were raised. We only went down south once a year, in July or August of course. So, we never were anywhere near there until we came down to visit. I am just now learning all this about my relatives and ancestors.
