Richard Appling (b. ca 1622) lived at Woodlands, Dorset near Horton. (not Woollands as noted in all the online trees).

His wife (or 1st wife) Joyce was a PERRY - at least in the will of Edmond Perry of Woodlands, Horton, Dorset 1692 he names his brother in-law Richard "Applen" of Woodlands and the husband of his sister Joyce.
