william miltonappling married 2nd time in Gwinnettco.l6 Nov. l87l, so Nancy must have died some time before that date but after the birth of Walton in October l869. Much of the l880 census of Gwinnett co. is too faded to be legible, which is probably why you didn't find Milton orWalton. Walton (William Walton) married Jackie Mayo in l89l in Fulton co. GA. He apparently changed his lname because in the l900 census he is Walter W. I have all the details of abovbe. Contact me at hmw70@hotmail if you are still interested.
