Need information to help in making a connection between Appling GA, and Appling Corners Jefferson Co New York...
Story has it that settlers from Appling Corners Jefferson Co Town of Watertown NY, moved to Ga and that one of those early settlers named Appling Ga .... The time frame would be around war 1812 or before. Found a very old cemetery in the woods at Appling Corners Jefferson Co NY some of the names date to as early as 1795 are Bristrol, Moore,Thomas, Biddlecom, Glass...
I am reseaching these old burial grounds..anyhelp would be greatly apprecated...
