William Appling(Aplin) married Elizabeth Berry at Buckerell on 2nd August,1818. Mary was their eldest child and, as you know married Richard Summers in 1840 (Relative?). William's father was Joseph Aplin/Apling/Appling/Appeling who married Anne Farmer at Offwell on 4th February,1788. There is a huge family of Aplins descended from Joseph and Anne through Christopher, a younger son of your William, living in New Zealand. Can I help you?
