In the Will of Hugh Rice Morris dated
Alemarle Co Va 17 Sep 1773.
item I give and bequesth to my Daughter Elizabeth Austin two hundred acres of land
upon Peolar in Amherst County to her heirs for ever.
From Will book two page 314 Albemarle Co Va
will of Hugh Rice Morris.
this is where Robert Taliaferro Nimmo also
lived upon the Peolar River, in 1862 Nelson
