My great,great grandfather, William Henry Aplin, 1813-1907, was a brother of Albert---I have lots of information on the Aplin family all the way back to John Aplin, Sr. Esq. attorney, who first settled in Providence, RI in the mid 1700s. Please email me if you would like to share information. I have photos of my grandfather and his daughters. Also photos of some cemeteries where the Aplins are buried in Ohio and West Virginia.
