This is what I know. I was told by my Mother Florence Joann Applegarth Lazasz that her oldest sister had a baby daughter out of wedlock and put the child up for adoption. My mother's oldest sister was named Ruth Applegarth born in Uniontown Ohio (near St. Clairsville) in 1927. Their mother (my grandmother) was named Mary, as is my sister. If you would like any more family information, I would be happy to help.
