I have some information on Henry William Applegarth's ancestors. William (b.1811)is the brother of my 3rd great grandfather, Sylvester. William and Sylvester are sons of Joshua Applegarth b. October 11, 1779 in Staindrop Parish, Barnard Castle, Durham Co., England. Joshua's father was John b. 1746, John's father was John b. 1707, his father was Robert b. Abt. 1673 and Robert's father was James Applegarth of Staindrop, Durham Co., England. James is the oldest male Applegarth I know of in my line.
I have more detail, if you are interested e-mail me. I would like to know more about Mary Jane Applegarth and William E. Roudebush, all I have is names and Mary Jane b. 1876 possibly Grand Meadow, Mower Co., MN.
