my husband's line originated with Joseph Appleby who was born around 1820 in Bethnal Green and married Harriet Nay. Our son has just taken a yDNA test with Family Tree DNA, and when the results arrive I will be submitting them to the British Isles Geographical Project and ySearch.org. I would be most interested to know if there are any other Appleby males who have taken a DNA test - particularly if they belong to a London line of Applebys.
