I have a Robert Appleby b. 8/15/1739 d. 4/2/1817 in Cumberland Co. married Temperance Catlett abt. 1760 and another unknown spouse. I also have a Robert Appleby b.1785 who is the previous Robert's son. Then I have Robert A Appleby b. 9/3/1838 and d. 1/1/1918 son of William Appleby and Mary "Polly" Bartlett. He married Sally Ann Dicken on 12/13/1860. Finally, I have Robert C Appleby b. 6/28/1882 in Albany Landing, Whetstone, Cumberland County, KY and d. 4/21/1905 son of Robert A Appleby and Sally Ann Dicken. I have that he married a Wells. If you think one of these may be your Robert, please let me know for I may not have known about the spouse Polly Flowers but I have some other info on him.
