I am a great great grandson of James Appleby and Lucinda Shackleford. A great deal of information and documents on them are in my possession and I am willing to share whatever you desire. It will take time to locate. I have the marriage license issued to them 20 December 1834 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, names of their nine children and the names of the children's spouses. Lucinda died circa 1872 - 1874. James died in the early 1890's(the administration of his estate and related data are located in the Owen County Archive in Spencer, Indiana). I also have the reunion minutes for the Cousins Reunions(James and Lucinda's grandchildren). The burial sites of seven of the children have been located. I would be glad to correspond directly with you.
