Hi Amy,
Thank you for your reply. It is nice to receive a response after 4 years. The APPLEBEE or APPLEBY family continues to be my maternal brickwall. What is the name of the book you found on google book?

I'm still seeking the father's name of James APPLEBY b. ca 1680 in Providence, RI [Rhode Island] m. Ann, Anne or Hannah CLEMENCE. They had children:
1) Anna b. bef. 1716 Scituate, Providence, RI m. John MOWRY [my ancestor], and
2) James APPLEBY, Jr. b. ca 1710 m. Dorcas PAINE [1724-1770] and had a son Nathan APPLEBY.

I greatly appreicate your help.
Thanks again,
Janice <jnrose@webtv.net>
