I came across a widow's deposition for Revolutionary War pension that you may be interested in reading. It concerns Elizabeth Apperson m. William Apperson alias William Epperson. They were married in Stokes County, NC. I believe that their son William, moved to Patrick County, VA. The deposition also lists a number of their children.
