There has been speculation that John Epperson/D'Epernon/Apperson married Elizabeth Beard in 1671 in St Andrew Parrish, Plymouth England. I had occasion to be in London doing research at the Society of Genealogists and read through the microfiche for 1670-1672 looking for this marriage. I found no sign of Epperson/D'Epernon/Apperson.
An Elizabeth Beard married John Wallett. They are #25 listed in marriages for May 1671. I am supposed to be a descendant of their son John and I'm not too happy about this setback. Just thought I'd toss it out for other researchers.
