I believe John Gates born 1834 may have married the sister of my great great grandfather Mary Jane McCord.
Mary Jane McCord and John GAULT married
9 Sep 1859 Ballymena Registry Office.
This branch of the Gates family changed their name.
Their children carry the name of Gault, not Gates.
