Hi Mike! I believe that we can safely say Emanuel was the son of George, Jr. According to the census info in Orangeburg 1820 &1830 George has sons that would fit Lazarus, William and Emanuel who all end up in the Dale/Henry Co AL area where George Jr. is found in 1850. That combined with their proximity in the 1840 GA census suggest a strong family tie. Will email you with a couple of suggestions. Debi
