Hi. I'm very new to genealogy and sort of stuck. My 4th great grandfather was named Robert Hicks Simmons. He was born in NC about 1780 and married Ann Harper and had a son named Benjamin Asbury Simmons. I don't know if your Robert Hicks Simmons is the same as mine, but I would welcome any info you may have. It would help me out a lot. Thanks a bunch in advance.
