Sarah H Anthony 1836-1920 grave site found in Bumpass Va.
Taken from "The Central Virginia Gazette" dated April 21, 2005.
In summary it says that Lawton and Dee King found more than just brush and debris when clearing their yard recently. They found a small cemetery.Part of their property sits where the graves are is on an old farm. They found one marked grave and several unmarked head and foot stones."Each unmarked grave has a headstone and a smaller footstone, while the only marked grave has only a headstone. The marked grave reads Sara(sic) H. Anthony and is dated 1836-1920..."The Kings will clear the area and they plan to put a fence around the cemetery.
The Louisia Historial Society is taking inventory of the church cemeteries around the county and will start inventoring private cemeteries next spring.
