David,
Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the way I came off. Black family members today are sick people. We're are lost and we're steady trying to hurt each other. I tried hard to pull this big family together. I'm talking over 400 family members down here. We had no idea we were related.
The family members I spoke to when I started my reserach knew the ancestors I reserach. Maybe this is what I needed. We'll talk about those Anthony's. If you're having trouble pulling your Anthony's out, we'll start with that common Anthony, first name, town, counties, dates.I started working on a friend of mine Ancestors. He gave me very little information about his family that he knew here in N.C. and in two days I went back three generations on his family (early 1800's. When I gave him the information, he had sweat jumping off his forehead and his hands were shaking. Another friend wants me to help her find her Ancestors, from Master Moores plantatin in Rocky Mt. N.C. Remember Roots, Chicken George. I told her we would get started.
Something went wrong and we should know our people. We'll work this. I'll contact my friend Darwin, in California. He's white and was handed down information on the Anthony's of Virginia. He said he had information on slaves in his documents. Keep in mind, where ever our Ancestors came from? Those people our looking for the same people that were takin away. I will be in Ga. from Friday - Sunday. Leave me something to view.
Brenda
