Hello Marcella, nice to hear from you and thank you for replying to my message. Since I posted it I have found Leboir on the 1881, 1891, and 1901 censuses, and I found an obituary on microfilm from the Chatham Daily News for 1932. I also found where he was witness at one of my families marriages. But I haven't been able to find which he was -a friend, a neighbor, or a relative. I had thought he might be related through the Pelletiers, but I haven't made the connection. Thanks again. Vivian
