Until recently I would have answered your question in the affirmative, but I have recently discovered a potential problem in my line which sheds some doubt on whether this is the case. I do have quite a bit of data on the Lafreniere name at http://users.rcn.com/dlafreniere/. Feel free to browse through my data. FYI - The data I now question is whether my great grandfather Adelard Lafreniere's parents were Joseph and Marie Lumine dit Lafreniere.
