Carol, My husband inherited very pale skin, red hair, blue eyes from his mother and that's the side that has Wheadon (also spelled Weedon) from Nova Scotia. His three brothers and his two sisters inherited brown hair and eyes from their father who he knows is Native American about three generations back from Maine. I had a friend who had blue eyes and blonde hair and her mother was African American and her father was of Swedish extraction. Her sister ended up looking like her mother. So, I'm not saying your Weedons/Weeldons aren't related to my husbands, but I just don't know how to tell. Have you tried the Wheadon/Weedon forum? I only found out last year that my great-grandparents changed their name when they came down from Canada from Richer to Richards to make it sound English so anything is possible.
