Jonathan is the son of Christian Anspach and Christina Overmeyer. He was born Dec 14, 1817 in Perry County Ohio. He married Elizabeth Swinehart Oct 21, 1841 in Perry County. I show 8 children, Eli, Samuel, Catherine, George, Charles, Margaret, Elizabeth and Levi. Christian came to Ohio with his parents, Johan Adam Anspach and Barbara Barrow abt 1801 from Berks county, Pennsylvania. This is a large family with many descendents in the Perry county area thru 1850 and a number moved on to Hardin County.
