All Anspachs in the U.S. are descendants of Balthasar Anspach who came to the colony of New York in 1710. He and his family moved to Strouchburg, PA when he died and is buried at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church which he helped found and is still standing. I suggest you start your search with Balthasar to learn what you want to know. George is a very common family name. Please feel free to email me if you think I can help somehow.
