I purchased in Alameda, CA, the subject photo of two infants, identified on the back of the mount:
"Little George Ultican 14 months old.
1907
Little Geraldine Annis 8 months old
1907."
I researching these names on ancestry.com and genealogy.com, I determined that these individuals were the children of two sisters who at one time both resided in Minnesota.
Geraldine Annis, born about 1907 in MN, was the daughter of a farmer, Leon W. Annis, born about 1881 in MN, and Eliza LaMore, born about 1878 in MI. She is listed in the 1910 and 1920 Census data for Wyanett, Isanti Co., MN.
George Joseph Ultican appears in Public Member Trees posted on ancestry.com. Born 8 Apr 1906 in Cloquet, Carlton Co., MN, died 12 May 1972 in Hagerman, Gooding Co., ID, was the son of a farmer, William Patrick Ultican (1873-1949), and Ella LaMore (1877-1959). He is listed in the 1910 Census data for Basalt Precinct, Bingham Co., ID; and the 1920 Census data for Hageman Precinct, Gooding Co., ID. On 3 Aug 1929, George married Helen Elizabeth Stacy (1908-1986).
According to a GenForum message dated 1 May 1998, the mother of Eliza and Ella LaMore and the maternal grandmother of the two infants in the photo, is Mary Louis Duby LaMore, born 12 Feb 1855 in St. Anne, Kankakee Co., IL, died 17 Dec 1943 in Oakland, Alameda Co., CA. The father of Eliza and Ella LaMore is Edward LaMore, born Jul 1842 in Canada (immigrated 1866).
