The West family landed with the Fords in Jamestown, VA in the 1630s and traveled and lived everywhere the Fords lived. From Surry Co, VA to Northern Virginia (Prince William, Fairfax, Richmond CO) to Maryland (Ann Arundel, Talbott, Baltimore co) to Spartanburg, South Carolina to Buncombe/Haywood, NC to Clay County, NC. The West family is still married into the the Fords family today in Clay county as are the Moores, and many others in WNC. Many of the descendents of the Fords, Moores, Wests, etc set out with the Fords that moved to E Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Arkansas, and Texas, Alabama.

I am looking for George Washington Ford m/Annis and moved westward from Haywood/Buncombe, NC about 1830s, Maybe with an uncle. John T. Ford's brothers were James (died in KY), Richard and George. Also John T. Ford had some half cousins George Ford, atc.
