Annett Genealogy in New Zealand

My father Max Frederic Annett came to New Zealand from England in about 1924 where he married my mother Jessie Evelyn (nee Batchelor) also from England on 16 September 1931. I am their only son and was born on 9 May 1935.
My father, Max Frederic Annett was born in Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, Rhone, France on 28 February 1903, the son of Thomas Auguste Annett and Antoinette Marie Jane (nee Armadieu) He died in 1941.

My father had a number of brothers
Walter Annett
William Annett
Marcel Annett
Jack Annett
and a sister Noel

I am in contact with two members of our branch of the Annett family in England, a John Annett and a Claude Annett.

There are other branches of the Annett family in New Zealand and I am aware that some work on the Annett Family History has been done by a Thelma Dunstill of New Zealand, working here in New Zealand and also in England and Ireland. She told me that she had traced the family back to four Annett brothers who were Huguenot protestants who fled to England and Ireland to escape Catholic persecution in France.
