George S. Annear was born 1822 in MA but in Florida Territory before 1845. In 1844 was married to widow Margaret Stephens and is shown in 1850 census with her and her children in Jefferson County, FL plus two Annear children they had together -- Eliza (Mary Elizabeth) and George C. Annear.

George married Civil Stephens about 1854 and had five more children with her, including two sets of twins, the first set born in Alabama and all other children back in Florida. Names: William and June (1855 AL), Mary A. (1857 FL), Samuel and Laura (1859 FL)

George S. Annear may have married a third time to Rachel Penny Ann Carter in 1861, just six months before he joined the Civil War effort. He died in Wilderness, VA in 1864 in Civil War battle there.

Looking for anyone who knows more about George's birth family, including his parents' names or any information about any of his children. I cannot find any of them after the 1860 census.
