A hand wriiten note on the front page states.

This book presented to my daughter Elizabeth by me January 4th 1837. I also certify that she was born the 19th of November 1810 at 8 O'clock in the morning. Baptised the 15th day of February 1811 by the Rev Frederick Rahausen, confirmed 22nd April 1827 by the Rev J. N. Hoffman, and married April 27th 1830 by the Rev D. Boyslen to Doctor Andrew Annann.

Mary M. Martin July 22nd 1779
We were married 15th January 1799

All of the entries concern the Annan famalies of Emmitsburg, Frederick Co., Md
