I live in Dallas, Texas. I am a descendant of John Norman and Ellin Annable of Belper, Duffield, England. I'd live to connect with others with info. of these families who lived in the Duffield area as early as the 1600s. Below is what I have on John and Ellin Norman:

• John Norman b. Sept. 19, 1652 Duffield Derby Pentrich, d. Mar 5, 1732 m. Mar 5, 1677 Ellin Annable/Annible/Anable/Anible b. 1656 Belper Laund, d. Oct 19, 1720 Pentrich (both buried Pentrich Derby)

Note: Ellen Annable’s father William: WILL 1699 Derbyshire Records Office: William Anable of Belper m. Mary Sterling of Denbigh 1655. Ellen’s mother: Hannah (William was her 2nd husband). William Annable owned copyhold and freehold of farm in Heage. Farm was passed to Fletcher – Radford – Strutt.

My family research can be found on Ancestry.com at:

Normans of WV-1

Looking forward to connecting with you!
