There were many Annables...Georges among them, living in Dundas County, Ontario...mostly in Winchester and Matilda. In Stormont County you'll find them around Cornwall and those areas.Look for Osnabruck (township). The name goes back in Canada a long ways...the early names appear on militia lists for the Bathurst and Eastern districts around 1814 - 1828 etc. The family was Methodist sometimes, Church of England at others. If you try the 1881 census online at www.familysearch.org you should have great luck. Don't confuse the machine, though. Just give the name and say 'Ontario'. Good luck!
