Donna,
I am from Johnstown,PA. DOB 11/16/48.
I have a "tree" that indicates a Joseph Ankney. (1802-1876).
Parents(?):
Peter (3/6/1751-12/23/1804) &
Rosanna Bonnett (Bickley)(1757-1834)
Joseph married Harriet S. Geisey (1801-1896)
Siblings(?):
My "tree" is too confusing to be sure - I can fax after 1/2/00.
It states Joseph traveled to Ohio in 1831. He is considered the founder of Ankney, Iowa. My "tree" copy goes back to 1746 / Dewalt & Childe A. I don't think this answers your "?", but I would gladly pass on anything else you think might help.
