Thank you kindly for your reply. In the interest of clarification, the husband of Juliana/Julia Ann Ankeny was not S.M. Joremoy. His name was Sample M. Journey, son of Lt. John Journey, Jr. and Nancy McMullen.Sample was born in 1810 in IL or KY, depending upon which source you use, and died in 1865 in ID.The children of Sample and Julia Ann included William L. Journey, b. 1835 in WI, d. 2 May 1861 in battle at Fort Donnellson, IA in the Civil War; Harry Daniel Journey, b. 1837 in IL, d. before 1870; David W. Jurney, b. 1839 in IL, d. before 1870; Harrison T. Jurney, b. 1841 in IL, d. before 1870; Mary E. Jurney, b. 1843 in IL, d. bet. 1860 and 1870; Franklin M. Journey, b. 1845 in IL, d. aft 1880, m. bet 1860 and 1870 to Francis J., b. NY; John K. Journey, b. 1847 in IL, d. bef 1870; Millard F. Journey, b. aft 1850, d. bef 1870; and Tyler M. Jurney, b. aft 1850, d. aft 1871.I also have collected a bit of biological information on Oliver and Augustus Ankeny, including some names of children, if anyone needs it or needs a lead on where to look.Am always happy to share!
