John Stanley and Helen were my grandparents. I too, was born and raised in and around Scottsbluff, the son of John Frederick and Annilee Ankeny. I have many pictures and other keepsakes of my Grandparents and a lot of family history packed into a trunk that I intend to examine, sort, catagorize, verify, etc., etc., as a retirement project. I have a lot of Barnes history and genealogy compiled by Helen; numerous old photos, (mostly unidentified); letters from Andrew Geer; some history of Ankeny, Iowa... etc. I would be happy to share with the family. I have the marriage certificate of Frederick Parker Barnes and Elonora Irene Geer framed in my living room.
