The James Anglin (age 43) I am referring to was living in the household of Job S Anglin (age 33) in the District of Saline, AR according to the 1850 census taken on 31 Oct 1850. He was listed as being 43 years old and born in Tennessee. Occupation was miner.

In addition to Job's wife Sarah and 3 children there were 5 people in the household which were not of Job's immediate family.

Next door to Job lived Aaron Anglin Jr (age 41). On the previous page I found Henry Anglin (age 46), an older brother. Henry was listed as a farmer.

I have reason to believe that these 4 Anglin's were the sons of Aaron Anglin Sr. I have no proof that this was so. I am told that Aaron Anglin Sr (b 1765 Orange Co, NC) had 5 sons. These were the last 4. I am also told that Aaron Sr died in Jan 1850 so he would not be on the census. I did not find the oldest brother, (John) on the census.

So, it appears that this is a different James Anglin from the one you are looking far.

Jim
