Another spelling of Anglin is Anglen. My husband's gg-grandfather was Frances M. Anglen whose son Herbert Houston Anglen spelled his name with the EN ending until he applied for Social Security and SSA spelled the name Anglin, so the family adopted that spelling. This particular group may have been from Illinois.
