I have a William Anglin and Lavinia Maddox 3rd great granparents) William born ca 1790 in GA, Lavinia born ca 1803 GA: These people moved from GA to AL sometime after the birth of their daughter Nancy in 1812. At the time of Nancy's birth they were in Putnam County, GA. Nancy married Newson Hicks, 1832 in Barbour County, AL., and died in Pike County, AL.

Could these two, William and Lavinia be the same as your William and Lovey Maddox?
