all info I have found on maddox family trees and other decendents of William I son of James shows
parents of Benjamin Newton Anglin b. 5-22-1834 were William II and Lavina (lovey) Maddox. Ben was born in Putman Ct,Ga.
David Anglin son William S was raised by John Porter a friend when David died when William was made Mr. Porter's ward. I found a Daniel Newton as a child of William. I don't have proof that my Ben wasn't a son of William S but I believe he was son oF William II and Lovey. A Cousin of mine has the same line you have and we haven't ever solved this. Confusing? Please let me know if you come across any other info.
