James Knox Polk Anglin who md Mercy 'Mertie' George was
the son of John Wesley Anglin -son of Daniel and Sarah
Anglin. John Carver Anglin's son John Washington Anglin
never left TN (or at least died there and is buried in
the Tidwell Cemetery)and had no heirs. There has
surfaced a will of John Carver Anglin of Washington County,
AR that states this very information.
James and Mertie Anglin's family are of the same ancestry
as my family and as far as we can tell, there is no
connection to the John Carver Anglin family -but who knows
way back there......
