Sorry, I can not help you much on this line. I have just started looking for names and documents. I spent some time looking at the John and Jemima posts on this site. What a mess! I am looking into the possibility of Mary Anglin (proposed wife of Joseph Spencer) and John Anglin (wife of Jemima) being brother and sister. However, I am struggling with the ages. I show John and Jemima's children being born in a span between 1779 and 1798 (based on information gleaned from GENFORUM) That places Jemima born sometime between 1745 and 1760. Have you established any birth dates for John and Jemima. I hate guessing.
Also, I found it strange that someone had a marriage date for my Mary Anglin and Joseph Spencer as 14 Sep 1749 in Talbot, Maryland. In general, I show the Spencer clan coming into South Carolina and moving into SW Virginia. I can't figure out why or how he got to Maryland and met Mary (Anglin). Has anyone found any Anglin clan in Maryland before 1750.
These are a few of the questions I am working on this month. I would love to hear back from you.
