My G.G.G.G.G.Grandfather was Adrian Anglin who, according to a the handwritten history of my Great Grandmother Ella Elizabeth Anglin, was born in Brest, France. "A mariner, Adrian came to America with two brothers before the Revolutionary War and settled in Buckingham Co, Va. in the 1760's." His son by Mary Ann Thornhill was Philip who married Frances Estes Cox. Their son William Anglin married Elizabeth Sewell and THEIR son John Sewell Anglin and Sara Caroline Roberts were Ella's parents. Ella was a true Southern Belle and left a detailed (flowery!) family tree if you would be interested. Sincerely, Susan Ley
